The ingredients needed to make Mmmm… NomNom Brownies:

  1. Make ready 1 cup of butter.
  2. Make ready 150 grams of dark/bitter chocolate.
  3. Make ready 2 cup of caster/superfine sugar.
  4. Get 4 of eggs.
  5. Make ready 2 tsp of vanilla extract.
  6. Make ready 1 cup of cocoa powder.
  7. Take 1 1/2 cup of plain/all purpose flour.
  8. Make ready 1 tbsp of icing/powdered sugar.

Instructions to make Mmmm… NomNom Brownies:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º gas 4.
  2. Prepare a pan – I use a 12"x6" Teflon pan 1½" deep as it is the perfect size. If you don't have one this size then use 2 smaller ones – line with greaseproof paper.
  3. Over a low heat melt together the butter and chocolate.
  4. In a bowl measure out the sugar, add the eggs and vanilla and beat together.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate and butter into the bowl a little at a time beating the mixture until it is all combined.
  6. Sieve the flour and cocoa into the bowl and stir or whisk to a smooth batter.
  7. Pour into the centre of your prepared tin and allow the mixture to self level (if you're using my brownie recipe for the base to the knock you naked brownies this is where you just put in half the mixture bake for 10 mins put over the caramel and choc chunks and other half of mixture then bake for a further 18 minutes)
  8. Bake in the centre of the oven for 28 minutes (25 is just too gooey and 30 is just too far but your experience may differ).
  9. Remove from oven and leave in tin for at least 30 minutes. Then lift out by the paper onto a cooling rack and leave for as long as possible before sprinkling with the icing/powdered sugar and cutting into 18 squares.
